Author Guidelines
Before You Start

Author Responsibilities
Our commitment is to provide a professional and courteous experience at every stage of the review and publication process. Authors are expected to:
- Respond promptly to any publication-related queries.
- Take full responsibility for all aspects of their work, including accuracy and research integrity.
- Maintain confidentiality in all communication with the journal editor until a formal decision has been reached.
Research and Publishing Ethics
To ensure ethical standards, we closely adhere to the guidelines established by COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics).
Key Principles:
- Originality: Manuscripts should be original and not previously published in any form. If portions of the work have been previously published, they must be disclosed.
- Conflicts of Interest: Any potential conflicts of interest must be declared upon submission.
- Informed Consent: Research involving human participants requires ethical approval and consent, with details included in the manuscript.
Generative AI Usage
Authors may not attribute authorship to AI tools. If AI tools are used for language editing, they must be cited, including tool name and version. AI cannot be used for content creation, including generation of abstracts or reporting of results.
Manuscript Preparation
Format: Submissions must be in Microsoft Word format. Figures should be submitted as high-resolution images (.jpeg, .bmp, .tif).
Length: Manuscripts should range from 4,000 to 8000 words, including all text, references, and tables.
Abstract: A structured abstract is required, with the following sub-headings:
- Purpose
- Design/Methodology/Approach
- Findings
- Originality/Value
References: APA referencing style
Keywords: Up to 6 keywords should be provided.
Figures and Tables: These should be numbered consecutively and include captions. Tables must be in a separate file from the main manuscript.
Submission Process
All submissions such as manuscripts and their full name, institutional email, and affiliation as they should appear in the publication. An ORCiD ID is also recommended, must send to AAlQatan@kwaaa.org
Peer Review Process
Manuscripts are reviewed by two independent reviewers in a double-blind process. Initial decisions are typically provided within 45 days of submission.
